A 19-year-old girl from Tianjin Polytechnic University has won the 2009 competition for Miss Model of the World China, held in northern China’s Hebei province.

At 177cm tall, Chu Yaqi is a sophomore majoring in fashion performance. She will be flying to London to represent China at Miss Model of the World at the competition’s headquarter in London, along with winners from other countries.
