On January 18, a tourist project with an estimated investment of 20 billion Yuan in Beidaihe New Zone (BNZ) in Qinhuangdao, Hebei province was signed by the BNZ Administrative Committee and the Beijing Guohua Real Estate Co.

Beidaihe Summer Resort

Wangsantang, secretary of the CPC Qinhuangdao Municipal Committee, Qinhuangdao mayor Zhu Haowen, and Fang Chao, president of Guohua, were among the dignitaries at the signing ceremony.

The planned Beidaihe International Holiday Center, covering an area of 4667 square kilometers, will be located on south bank of the Yanghe River in BNZ. The project is designed to be a top-end comprehensive coastal tourism destination with holiday hotels, hotel service apartments, shopping streets, yacht clubs, theme parks, and beaches.

The project, designed by American designer ＲＴＫＬ, is scheduled to be completed in six years with the first stage completed in two years. Its planning is currently under way.

Beidaihe is a famous summer resort located at the southwest of Qinhuangdao with a 10 km beach stretching from east to west.
