Hebei province will set up an equity exchange, according to a circular issued by the provincial government, the Yanzhao Metropolitan Daily reported.

The equity exchange will be aimed at providing fund-raising channels for companies not listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange or Shenzhen Stock Exchange.

But when the exchange will be established is not yet known.
