Park 118 New Media Industrial Park and Broadcast Network Center laid its foundation stone in Shijiazhuang high-tech development zone on July 21. Park 118 was jointly invested by Hebei Media Corporation and Shanghai Yuanchuang Investment Management Company. Ai Wenli, Song Taiping, and other leaders attended the ceremony.

Following the foundation stone laying ceremony, a forum was held in which experts and scholars from Hebei province and beyond participated in a heated discussion on the development of the cultural industry of Hebei.

Park 118 New Media Industrial Park is one of 15 key inventive projects in the Hebei press and media industry. Hebei Media Corporation combined culture and technology when designing the culturally innovative industrial park. It covers an area of 205 mu(13.6 hectares) in total.

The issuing center of Hebei publications, which absorbed an investment of 350 million yuan () in the first phase and covers 103000 square meters, has been finished and put into operation.

Once finished, the park will be a cultural innovation base and incubated platform for innovative enterprises which has an advanced operating mechanism, many enterprises and promising profits.
