Hebei province's projects to improve rural medical emergency treatment are getting 51.2 million yuan ($8.3 million) in central government aid, in 2013, according to the National Development and Innovation Committee, a top planning authority, which explained that this is part of a national investment plan for rural areas this year.
The funds will go to 40 county-level emergency centers, which will be finished in 2014, and will use the money for medical facility rooms in rural areas and ambulances. The purpose of the national project is to improve the medical treatments in rural areas with better functions and response time in the case of accidents, so rural people can enjoy the same standards, convenience, and emergency service of other places. |
