Lulong county, near the city of Qinhuangdao, Hebei Province, got 10 projects, worth a total of 4 billion yuan ( $653.4 million), on Oct 8, which are expected to play a leading role in improving the industrial structure, and achieving the economic aggregates and green growth. They involve tourism, new materials, and other areas, such as: a Taolinkou tourism project, worth 2,777 million yuan, backed by the Qinhuangdao Haiyi Tourism Development Co; a sweet potato starch and bean vermicelli storage project, worth 270 million yuan, from the Hebei Zhongshu Food Co; an FRP industry door, worth 266.3 million yuan, with an annual output of 10,000 sets, from the Qinhuangdao Locwid New Materials Co; a wine leisure yard, worth 201.6 million yuan, from the Liuhe Vineyard; and a demonstration project for comprehensive land development, worth 200 million yuan, from the Qinhuangdao Longzhou Co.
