Zhangjiakou signs 300-million yuan agreements on tourism projects

The Zhangjiakou Municipal Tourism Administration focused on the promotion of the tourist projects and tourism resources of Zhangjiakou, and signed a 300-million yuan cooperative agreement at the 2012 Hebei (Hong Kong/Macau) Investment and Trade Fair.

The Hebei (Hong Kong/Macau) Investment and Trade Fair was held recently in Hong Kong and Macau.

During the event this year, the Zhangjiakou Municipal Tourism Administration put emphasis on the promotion of the five following tourism projects: the development project of the Nihewan Hot Spring Resort in Yangyuan county, the Nihewan National Archaeological Site Park in Yangyuan county, the holy places of the three Chinese progenitors and Huangdi Emperor Town Cultural Scenic Spot in Zhuolu county, the tourism development project of the Jilian Mountain Snow Skiing Resort in Guyuan county, and t Binshanliang Snow Skiing Resort Town in Guyuan county.

The projects have drawn strong interest from investors, who expressed their intention to investigate.

During the fair, the Zhangjiakou Municipal Tourism Administration communicated with the Hong Kong Association of China Travel Organizers Ltd, the China National Travel Service (HK) Group Corporation, and the Macau Association of Tourism. They distributed the Investment Invitation Manual for Key Tourism Projects in Zhangjiakou, which laid out the foundation for future investment invitations and tourism cooperation.

Meanwhile, the Zhangjiakou Municipal Tourism distributed over 300 copies of maps, brochures and routes of Zhangjiakou to tourism agencies in Hong Kong and Macau to publicize the tourism resources of Zhangjiakou.
